Plastikóre opens talks with Isle Utilities to accelerate entry into the water market

Plastikóre starts September with momentum: on September 1, 2026 we held a first introductory call with Isle Utilities, one of the world's leading innovation consultancies in the water sector. The meeting was very productive and opens a new pathway to accelerate the international market entry of our technology.

Who is Isle Utilities

Isle Utilities is a global consultancy specialised in identifying, validating and accelerating the adoption of emerging water technologies. Through its international network of utilities, engineering firms and technology providers, it helps water operators find and deploy innovative solutions to major environmental challenges.

A very productive meeting

During the session we presented Plastikóre's technology: a 100% physical process, with no chemical reagents, able to remove 85-95% of the microfibres present in wastewater, currently at TRL 3-4. Isle Utilities' knowledge of the water market and its utility network will help us explore new piloting and collaboration opportunities.

This first contact is the beginning of a dialogue that will continue in the coming weeks, while Plastikóre advances the protection of its technology and the incorporation of the company.
